Senior Associate, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Role description

Role Overview

Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations and US GAAP, executing SEC reporting activities during quarter-end and year-end closes and preparing disclosures and footnotes for external filings.

What You Will Do

Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A sections in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. Review supporting documentation and prepare the tie-out of the financial statements and footnotes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA is required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience at a public company
• Demonstrated ability to research and apply US GAAP and SEC regulations to complex accounting matters
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced reporting environment
• Experience collaborating with auditors, legal counsel, team members, and cross-functional departments
