Role Overview

The Senior Counsel, Commercial - Americas will support the rapidly growing Global Field Organization (GFO) business in its U.S. West region. The role requires a dynamic, fast-paced environment, solving complex problems, and making a significant impact. The team is highly collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented, with a strong emphasis on building trusted relationships across the organization.

What You Will Do

The Senior Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial technology agreements with enterprise customers, including cloud services, SaaS, infrastructure/IaaS, software licensing, professional services, partnership, and data processing agreements. The role involves managing multiple concurrent transactions, balancing legal risk, business objectives, and operational efficiency for a fast-moving sales organization.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, and 8+ years of experience gained from a law firm or in-house experience gained within a fast-paced technology company. The candidate should have substantial commercial and complex technology contracting experience, including cloud, AI, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and experience with complex, high-value, or infrastructure-heavy transactions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 8+ years of experience gained from a law firm or in-house experience gained within a fast-paced technology company
• Substantial commercial and complex technology contracting experience: Cloud, AI, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS
• Experience with complex, high-value, or infrastructure-heavy transactions both within and outside of the US
• Direct exposure to cross-border deal structures is a strong plus
