Role Overview

The Senior AI Platform Engineer will own the design, implementation, and governance of AI across CoreWeave's employee environment, partnering with Enterprise Security and IT Identity and Access to establish enforceable controls and build a clear path from pilot to supported service.

What You Will Do

The role involves designing and implementing AI guardrails as enforceable controls, building and operating connector and MCP allowlists, and partnering with Enterprise Security, Legal, and Privacy to translate acceptable-use, data-classification, and regulatory requirements into technical policy.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or IT systems engineering, with 2+ years of hands-on experience building with or administering LLM-based products, and a strong understanding of enterprise IT control systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or IT systems engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building with or administering LLM-based products
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
• Experience operating services in production, or automating enterprise systems with code
• A working understanding of how enterprise IT control systems function, including identity and access, endpoint and device management, and SaaS administration
