Staff Software Engineer, IAM

Role description

CoreWeave is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. The role involves leading the design and implementation of high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems for authentication and authorization across all CoreWeave services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in a production environment
• 5+ years of IAM domain expertise, including developing identity products and a deep mastery of standards including OIDC, OAuth2.0, SAML, and JWT
• Technical leadership experience leading large, cross-functional projects from inception to planet-scale deployment with measurable business impact
• Cloud-native mastery, including deep understanding of Kubernetes, microservices architecture at scale, and advanced CI/CD patterns
• Enterprise security acumen, including solid knowledge of the security, compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.), and governance needs of sophisticated enterprise customers
