Role Overview
The CapEx Commodity Manager will own sourcing strategy for capital equipment across the build program, run competitive sourcing events, negotiate and execute capital equipment agreements, and partner with Finance on CapEx planning and tracking.
What You Will Do
Deliver cost reduction through standardization, demand aggregation, and volume agreements, and build dual-source plans to close out single-source risk on critical capital equipment.

Requirements
- Sourced and negotiated high-value capital equipment or construction packages
- Structured capital contracts with milestone payments, warranties, liquidated damages, and escalation terms
- Managed capital contracts through delivery
- Partnered with Finance on CapEx budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Delivered cost reduction through standardization, demand aggregation, and volume agreements
- Built dual-source plans to close out single-source risk on critical capital equipment
- Run RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes end to end
- Tracked supplier performance with scorecards spanning quality, on-time delivery, and cost
- Worked inside ERP and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or equivalent)
