Role Overview
We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to design substation layouts, bus configurations, and equipment specs for campus interconnection. The ideal candidate will have experience in HV substation design, utility standards, and interface with utilities and consultants.
What You Will Do
You will own the physical and electrical design of HV yards and MV distribution substations, translate requirements into designs that pass review the first time, and standardize the substation design across sites.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about the problem space, has a love for the game, and is willing to work at high intensity to push the frontier forward. Bonus points for experience with grounding studies, GIS substations, and interconnection processes.
Requirements
- HV substation design experience
- Utility standards knowledge
- Interface with utilities and consultants
- Transformer, breaker, and switchgear specification at transmission class
- Substation construction and energization support
- Design productization rather than redrawing
