Role Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer, Civil to join our Data Center Design Team. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and execution of 10s to 100s of GWs of data centers this decade. The role involves owning environmental and civil engineering for data center site development, driving environmental permitting, and managing third-party civil and environmental consultants.
What You Will Do
The Environmental Engineer, Civil will be responsible for owning environmental and civil engineering for data center site development, driving environmental permitting through agencies and consultants, and managing third-party civil and environmental consultants. The role also involves screening prospective sites for fatal flaws and coordinating civil design with structural and architectural scopes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a candidate who has taken industrial or large commercial sites through environmental permitting themselves, has experience working directly with regulators, and has managed AE and environmental consultants. Bonus skills include a PE license, data center, solar, or heavy industrial site development experience, multi-state permitting, and civil 3D or hydrology modeling tools.
