Role Overview
We're looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to design and develop fire protection systems for our modular units and data centers. The role involves running hydraulic calcs, developing standardized designs, and supporting permitting and commissioning. We're a fast-paced team that operates with extreme ownership and autonomy.
What You Will Do
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you'll design fire protection systems, run hydraulic calcs, and develop standardized designs. You'll also support permitting and commissioning, and answer AHJ questions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for someone who is passionate about fire protection engineering and has experience designing systems for industrial or mission-critical facilities. You should be able to run your own hydraulic calcs and have experience with NFPA 13 and 72.
Requirements
- Designed fire protection systems for industrial or mission-critical facilities
- Run your own hydraulic calcs
- Taken designs through plan review and acceptance testing
- Knowledge of NFPA 13 and 72
- Experience with Clean agent and water mist systems
- Experience with BESS protection (NFPA 855)
- Experience with AutoSPRINK or HydraCAD
- NICET or PE track
