Role Overview
We're looking for a Global Sourcing Manager, Spares (Manufacturing) to build and run a spare parts sourcing program for critical datacenter equipment. The team is working on qualifying and dual-sourcing suppliers, negotiating spares pricing, and setting stocking levels to keep replacement parts on site before a failure takes a hall offline. The role requires building relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory to ensure the team's speed and scale advantage.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of this role include building and running a spare parts sourcing program, qualifying and dual-sourcing suppliers, negotiating spares pricing and lead-time commitments, and setting stocking levels to keep replacement parts on site before a failure takes a hall offline. You will also partner with reliability and site operations to forecast spares demand from the maintenance schedule and installed base.
