Role description

Role Overview

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, and we're looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our Logistics Team. The team is working on key problems such as deciding what happens next to every piece of material before it leaves the dock, replacing outsourced warehousing with a network we own, and building systems from scratch. The Industrial Engineer will design pick, pack, receiving, and RMA workflows, run time and motion studies, model rack, dock door, and staging layouts, and partner with the WMS and IMS system build teams.

What You Will Do

Design warehouse layouts, run time and motion studies, model rack, dock door, and staging layouts, build process documentation and standard work instructions, and partner with the WMS and IMS system build teams.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone who has designed or re-designed a warehouse layout, run a time and motion study, modeled dock, rack, or staging capacity, and partnered with a systems team to ensure new software matches a real physical process.

Requirements

  • Designed or re-designed a warehouse layout
  • Run a time and motion study and turned it into a standard work instruction
  • Modeled dock, rack, or staging capacity against real operational data
  • Partnered with a systems team to make sure new software matched a real physical process

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity)
  • Retirement or pension plan
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO policy
  • Total compensation may also include equity in the form of restricted stock units
