IT Engineer, Data Center
FluidStack — Austin, Texas, United States · In-Person · Senior · $100k - $150k/yearly
Role description
Role Overview
We're looking for an IT Engineer to build and run on-site IT infrastructure at gigawatt-scale data center campuses. You'll automate provisioning of endpoints, identity, and access, and own the multi-site IT stack to keep teams, contractors, and customers cleanly separated and secure. You'll also resolve on-site incidents and unblock field and construction teams directly.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and running IT infrastructure, automating IT operations with code, owning identity and access management, and resolving incidents under time pressure. You'll also design multi-tenant or segmented network environments and write documentation and runbooks clear enough for the next engineer to stand up a site without asking you how.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for someone who has built and run IT infrastructure across multiple physical sites, automated IT operations with code, and owned identity and access management for a fast-growing organization.
