Role description
Role Overview
We're a team building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, and we're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to engineer the mechanical side of demand flexibility, model thermal inertia, and design mechanical strategies for cooling systems.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing mechanical strategies, setting point moves, staging, and storage, that turn cooling into a grid asset, and validating in the field through instrumented tests.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for someone who has engineered mechanical or HVAC systems for data centers or industrial plants, modeled thermal systems dynamically, and run field validation campaigns.
Requirements
- Engineered mechanical or HVAC systems for data centers or industrial plants
- Modeled thermal systems dynamically
- Run field validation campaigns and reconciled model to measurement
- Quantify risk in operating terms: degrees, minutes, and margins
- Work jointly with controls engineers as one system team
Benefits
- Pay equity and transparency
