Network Security Engineer
FluidStack — Austin, Texas, United States · In-Person · Mid
Role description
Role Overview
As a Network Security Engineer at Fluidstack, you will design and defend the network security architecture across data centers, corp, and cloud, and build network detection and automation of network security controls. You will work on securing the frontier of AI, where model weights training on our infrastructure are the most valuable and most targeted artifacts in technology. You will own the entire security program from scratch, end to end, bare metal to boardroom, as we scale across continents.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing segmentation for environments that mix IT, OT, and high-value compute, deploying and tuning NDR or flow-based detection that found real intrusions, and partnering with network engineering without becoming the department of no. You will also work on OT and ICS security, data center or cloud provider environments, BGP and routing security, and Zeek or Suricata.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for someone who has secured production networks at scale, and reads a packet capture as comfortably as a dashboard. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a team that is singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. You will have the opportunity to work on the most interesting problem of our time, the frontier of AI.
