Role description

Role Overview

The Product Engineering NPI Team Lead will build the NPI process from scratch, lead and develop the NPI TPM team, and own portfolio-level program visibility. The team is responsible for taking hardware from design release to repeatable production across every product Fluidstack builds. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in NPI or program management at a hardware OEM or ODM, with 3+ years leading TPM or NPI teams.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include building a stage-gate NPI process, running multiple concurrent NPI programs, defining what 'ready to transfer' means with manufacturing engineering, and enforcing change discipline at a pace that keeps up with the largest AI compute buildout in history.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The candidate should have experience building stage-gate processes, leading TPM or NPI teams, and managing programs spanning multiple product lines simultaneously. Bonus points for experience with portfolio management tooling, products spanning compute and power equipment, manufacturing transfer at new plants, or building teams from zero.

  • Experience building stage-gate processes
  • Experience leading TPM or NPI teams
