Role description
Role Overview
We're looking for an engineer to own rotating equipment for behind-the-meter generation, including turbines, engines, and generators. You'll engineer mechanical packages, run factory and site acceptance tests, and support the fleet.
What You Will Do
Own rotating equipment specifications, evaluate vendors, witness factory acceptance tests, and root-cause reliability issues.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You'll work with a team that's singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute infrastructure faster than anyone else. We're committed to pay equity and transparency, and we hire people who care deeply about this problem space.
Requirements
- Engineered rotating equipment: gas turbines, recip engines, or large pumps and compressors
- Owned equipment specifications and vendor technical evaluations
- Witnessed factory acceptance tests and rejected what didn't perform
- Read vibration data and know what it's telling you
- Root-caused rotating equipment failures in the field
Benefits
- Pay equity and transparency
