Role description
Role Overview
We are building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, and we need a software engineer to build the software behind data center robotics. The role involves building task planning, fleet coordination, and integration with company systems. We operate with extreme ownership, velocity, and first principles, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for pushing the frontier of AI.
What You Will Do
You will build the autonomy glue, ship the operational tooling, and integrate robotics data into the platform. You will also own the operational tooling, including monitoring, teleoperation fallback, and diagnostics for robots at remote sites.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for someone who has shipped software for robots or autonomous systems in production, has worked with ROS or equivalent middleware on real hardware, and has experience with remote failure, recovery, and observability. Bonus skills include navigation and SLAM, fleet orchestration, and experience with C++, Python, or Go.
Requirements
- Shipped software for robots or autonomous systems in production
- Worked with ROS or equivalent middleware on real hardware
- Engineered for remote failure: recovery, fallback, and observability built in
- Integrated robot systems with enterprise or facility software
- Debugged hardware-software boundaries without a lab bench
Benefits
- Pay equity
- Transparency
