Role description

Role Overview

We're looking for a Solar Construction Manager to own day-to-day site execution for utility-scale solar and BESS projects, orchestrating EPC contractors, civil crews, electrical trades, and equipment vendors to deliver safe, on-schedule, on-budget facilities from mobilization through energization.

What You Will Do

You will build, maintain, and drive integrated construction schedules, enforce the site safety program, coordinate civil, racking, PV, inverter, BESS, and MV/HV electrical trades, and track and report daily progress, earned value, cost-to-complete, and resource loading.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You have managed utility-scale solar, solar-plus-storage, or high-voltage substation construction from mobilization through commercial operation, and the projects you ran came in on schedule. You enforce safety hard, catch long-lead equipment risks, and build and drive integrated schedules.

Requirements

  • Managed utility-scale solar, solar-plus-storage, or high-voltage substation construction from mobilization through commercial operation
  • Coordinated civil, racking, PV, electrical, and BESS scopes simultaneously
  • Enforced safety hard, writing and executing site safety plans, holding subcontractors to them, and managing documentation
  • Caught long-lead equipment risks, SCADA integration gaps, and interconnection milestone conflicts before they surfaced as schedule hits
  • Built and drove integrated schedules in Primavera P6 or MS Project

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity)
  • Retirement or pension plan
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO policy
