Role Overview
As a Sourcing Manager, Steel, you will own the steel category, source fabrication capacity, negotiate pricing, qualify fabricators, and manage load balancing. You will work on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack.
What You Will Do
Your key problems will be to supply tens of gigawatts of compute, qualify and dual-source across every critical equipment category, make supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone, and build the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for someone who has sourced structural steel or fabricated steel assemblies at industrial volume, understands fabrication economics, and can manage commodity exposure with indexing or hedging.
