Role Overview
Design and manage tooling and fixtures for the factory, including weld fixtures, assembly jigs, and lifting and handling tools. Own the tooling lifecycle, from concept to proving, and manage the register that tracks it all. Design for the operator, prioritizing fast loading, mistake-proofing, and safe handling of heavy parts.
What You Will Do
Design production tooling and fixtures for fabrication or assembly, conduct stack-ups, and prove fixtures with capability studies. Revise designs quickly when products change. Bonus: Weld fixture design, GD&T depth, and experience with SolidWorks or Inventor.
