Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the search infrastructure as a product, setting the quality bar and release criteria for search, and shaping the direction of our index. You will work closely with the evaluation team, search engineering and research teams, and customer success to understand where our results fall short in real workflows and turn that into quality priorities.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include setting the quality bar and release criteria for search, owning the depth, latency, and cost tradeoffs across our search products, shaping the direction of our index, building a point of view on where search infrastructure is going, and working with customer success and directly with customers to understand where our results fall short.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We expect you to have 5+ years of product management experience, with a meaningful portion spent on high-scale search or ranking systems, and a background as an engineer, ML engineer, or researcher on a production system in one of those areas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Background as an engineer, ML engineer, or researcher on a production system in one of those areas
- Direct experience shipping a search or ranking change end to end
- Strong data foundation
- Product judgment to match the technical depth
- Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and how retrieval fits into agentic workflows
