Senior Tax Accountant - Indirect

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you’ll serve as a key individual contributor within the Tax Department and will have significant ownership over state and local tax compliance, tax registrations, new-state and new-site onboarding, sales and use tax, property tax, exemptions, business licenses, tax notices and tax operations.

What You Will Do

Manage sales and use tax compliance, review taxable and exempt transactions, manage exemption certificates, monitor changes in sales and use tax requirements, identify potential sales and use tax exposures, and coordinate state and local registrations, sales and use tax licenses, business licenses and other tax accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant tax or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of state and local tax concepts.
• Experience with sales and use tax, state registrations, exemptions, property tax or related SALT matters.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
