Role description

Role Overview

The Senior Production Engineer will ensure the reliability and scalability of Crusoe's AI-optimized cloud platform. The role is central to delivering highly available, performant, and cost-efficient AI infrastructure that powers compute-intensive, latency-sensitive workloads for customers.

What You Will Do

Design and operate reliable managed AI services, define and measure SLIs/SLOs, collaborate with AI and infrastructure teams, automate observability, and investigate and resolve reliability issues in distributed AI systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, experience in distributed systems design and implementation, and a demonstrated SRE mindset, including defining and measuring SLIs/SLOs, building monitoring and observability systems, and driving performance and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background
• Experience building production-grade systems beyond scripting or Bash
• Demonstrated experience in distributed systems design and implementation
• SRE mindset and experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Java, C++)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
