Role Overview
The Detection and Response team is responsible for detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response across Nebius Cloud. The team's goal is to improve and maintain Nebius's security monitoring capabilities and build an end-to-end Security Incident Response program.
What You Will Do
The Detection Engineering & Response Lead will own the detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response functions across Nebius Cloud, leading a small team of analysts and engineers. They will work closely with alerts consumers to maintain low false-positive and false-negative rates, architect and operate detection coverage, and integrate threat intelligence into detection logic.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response, with at least 1–2 years of leading or mentoring a team. They will have strong detection engineering skills, experience building or operating SOAR workflows, and solid IR fundamentals.
