Role Overview
Tavily is looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel with experience in technology transactions and privacy to join our Legal team. You'll take ownership of commercial agreements that support Tavily's global business, partner closely with our Go-to-Market teams, and help ensure compliance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
What You Will Do
Lead customer negotiations, partner with Go-to-Market teams, support privacy and data protection, own DPA negotiations, support procurement and partnerships, drive complex global transactions, translate local requirements into practical advice, and build scalable legal processes.

Requirements
- Admission to practice law in the United States, an EU member state, or Israel
- An LL.B., J.D., or equivalent law degree from an accredited university
- 4–9 years of experience practicing technology commercial and privacy law after completing any applicable internship or trainee program
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
- Experience working at SaaS companies in the AI sector
- Experience advising on global privacy requirements
- Experience with U.S. copyright and intellectual property law
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver accurate work and manage negotiations under tight deadlines
