Senior Tax Accountant

Role description

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you'll serve as a key individual contributor within the Tax Department and will have significant ownership over state and local tax compliance, tax registrations, new-state and new-site onboarding, sales and use tax, property tax, exemptions, business licenses, tax notices and tax operations.

What You Will Do

Support federal, state and international income tax compliance, prepare the Company's quarterly and annual income tax provision, and analyze effective tax rate movements and identify key drivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant tax or accounting experience
• Experience with federal and state income taxation
• Experience with ASC 740
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Ability to interpret financial information and translate it into tax implications
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Accounting, Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to identify tax risks and opportunities and recommend solutions
