Commissioning Director, EMEA (UK or Norway)
Nscale — London, England, United Kingdom · Hybrid · Senior
Role description
Role Overview
The Commissioning Director will own the gate between capital spent and capacity earning, setting the single standard for commissioning and operational readiness across Nscale's multi-gigawatt pipeline. This is a build role, where the function, standard, tooling, team, and operating model will be created from scratch.
What You Will Do
The Director will author and own the Group Commissioning Execution Standard, hold the acceptance gate, select and deploy a commissioning management platform, and ensure commissioning is built into every project master programme. They will also own the methodology for closed-loop direct-to-chip liquid cooling, high-consequence electrical testing, and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience of high-density liquid-cooled deployments, high-voltage and medium-voltage commissioning experience, and contract literacy. They will be able to hold a technical argument with engineers and present acceptance risk to executives.
