Data Center Project Engineer

Role description

TensorWave is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to provide technical and administrative support to the on-site Senior Project Manager and construction team, enabling seamless, secure, reliable, and resilient AI compute at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting complex construction documents, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with RFI and submittal management processes and standard industry workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing professional documentation under time pressure.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without letting details fall through the cracks.
