Role description

Role Overview

We're looking for a Director of Manufacturing to manage multiple plant managers, own plant logistics, and work cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple sites, owning logistics, and working with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

As a Director of Manufacturing, you will manage a bench of plant managers, set production targets, and build the manufacturing organization under you. You will also work with manufacturing engineering and supply chain teams to keep every plant running as designed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone who is passionate about building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI and has a strong background in manufacturing and logistics. If you're a detail-oriented and results-driven individual who can work autonomously and make decisions quickly, this could be a great fit.

Requirements

  • Managed multiple plant managers or site leaders at once
  • Owned plant logistics, inbound materials, in-plant flow, and outbound shipping
  • Worked cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and program teams
  • Caught a struggling site early and fixed it before it slipped a build or shipment schedule
  • Wrote clearly enough to turn a fleet-wide production issue into a decision a CEO or COO can make in one read

Benefits

  • Pay equity and transparency
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Other benefits not explicitly stated
