Role Overview
The Transportation Coordinator will book and schedule shipments across the network, coordinating pickup and delivery windows directly with the carrier and receiving sites. They will track every shipment in transit through the transportation management system, checking ETAs against committed windows and flagging at-risk deliveries before they hit a site.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Coordinator will own the day-to-day relationship with our dedicated carrier: rates, capacity, service issues, and escalations. They will keep shipment and carrier performance data current in the TMS and turn it into a running view of who's hitting SLA and who isn't.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have personally booked and managed shipments end to end, from carrier booking through delivery confirmation, across a network of multiple sites or destinations. They will be fluent in a transportation management system: booking, tracking, exception handling, and pulling the reports that tell you what's actually happening.

- Chased a missed SLA to its actual cause
