Role description

Role Overview

Design, deliver, and evaluate safety training across new hire orientation, annual refreshers, and specialized certifications for a high-automation manufacturing workforce. Coach supervisors and team leads on safety observation techniques, near-miss reporting, and behavior-based safety principles.

What You Will Do

Own the facility compliance training calendar and LMS, tracking required training frequencies and certification expirations. Develop leading and lagging training KPIs and report completion, competency, and compliance trends to plant leadership monthly.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You've built and run a safety training program from new hire orientation through specialized certifications, and can point to a training calendar you owned with zero compliance lapses. You've managed a training budget and outside training or certification vendors, and mentored junior safety staff into people who run their own programs.

Requirements

  • Built and run a safety training program from new hire orientation through specialized certifications
  • Coached frontline supervisors on safety observation and near-miss reporting
  • Managed a training budget and outside training or certification vendors
  • Owned an LMS or compliance-tracking system and kept a workforce current against OSHA or state-plan (ADOSH) training requirements
  • Built leading and lagging KPIs for a training or safety program and used them to change what leadership prioritized

Benefits

  • Equity in the form of stock options
  • Pay equity and transparency
  • Committed to equal employment opportunity
