The Data Centre Operations team is at the physical core of our business, responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the cutting-edge infrastructure that powers the cloud. This team ensures the stability, security, and scalability of our physical assets, working hands-on in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment to deliver a best-in-class experience for our clients.
What You Will Do
The Data Centre Technician will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data centre operations. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repair, and includes maintenance of data centre operations to ensure service availability.

Requirements
- Computer Hardware experience, including troubleshooting and assembling.
- Linux Operating System experience.
- Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces, such as ladders or under-floor areas.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills for handling small hardware components and cables.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment, including participating in a rotating on-call shift.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and react quickly to issues.
